Bio:

Meech P, whose real name is Demetrus Porter, was born in Akron, Ohio. Growing up as a child all he ever heard in his house hold was music. His mother always knew he wanted to entertain people because he was always the center of attention. He was and he would always put on a show. She always reminded him that he was talented in many things, and had the ability to draw peoples attention to him no matter what he did. 
     When he was 7 years old he moved to Rome, Georgia which is about an hour away from Atlanta. His family in Georgia would always play southern music more than the music he was used to listening to. At an early age he discovered that he wanted to be a rapper. He grew up listening to and idolizing The Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DMX and Outkast.

  He moved back to Akron when he was 10 and met Gabor Kunstar (Mighty GK).  They both started organizing their own group of artist. It took a few years for them to find the right artists they knew had potential, but they did it while creating the name "N.B.S. Squad" (No Bull Sh*t).

  In 2009, Meech met "Teege". They both had a vision that Taking NO for an answer was not an option and would never ever be an option from that point on. Later on, Shon Parker & Ryan Rayne were inducted into N.B.S. Squad.

  Meech P mixes many styles in his music. He believes his creativity in music will take him to the next level. He's never been afraid to go outside the box. His current influences are Ludacris, T.I, Nelly, Eminem, Kanye West, & others. He feels that his best work is yet to come. Follow him on his "Journey To Success"!
